Day 0-Departure from Delhi
Depart from Delhi around 9:30 PM in a comfortable AC vehicle. Enjoy a pit stop for dinner at a clean roadside restaurant. This overnight journey sets the tone for your thrilling Spiti adventure — maximize your travel time by relaxing and preparing for the scenic Himalayan experience ahead.
Day 1-Arrival in Manali | Self-Exploration & Acclimatization
Arrive in Manali early morning, check into your hotel, freshen up, and have a hearty breakfast. This day is dedicated to acclimatization to help your body adjust to the high-altitude climate. Later, explore Manali at your own pace — visit the spiritual Vashisht Temple, the serene Hadimba Temple, take a stroll on the bustling Mall Road, or trek to the picturesque Jogini Waterfall. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2-Manali to Kaza via Atal Tunnel | Overnight Stay in Kaza
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and start your scenic journey to Kaza, the gateway to Spiti Valley. Drive through the famous Atal Tunnel, the world’s longest highway tunnel, witnessing the dramatic shift from lush green valleys to arid, rugged landscapes. Pass through Kunzum La Pass (14,931 ft), the entry point to Spiti. Visit the breathtaking Chicham Bridge, Asia’s highest suspension bridge, before arriving in Kaza by evening. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 3-Explore Spiti’s Iconic Villages — Key Monastery, Hikkim, Komic & Langza | Overnight in Kaza
Post breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Spiti’s renowned sites:
Key Monastery: The largest and oldest monastery in Spiti, a spiritual hub for Buddhist monks.
Hikkim Village: Home to the highest post office in the world — send postcards to your loved ones from this unique location.
Komic Village: Known for its high-altitude cafe and stunning mountain views.
Langza Village: Famous for its giant Buddha statue and rich fossil beds.
Return to Kaza by evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4-Kaza to Chandratal Lake | Overnight Camping at Chandratal
Enjoy breakfast and check out before heading to the mesmerizing Chandratal Lake — also known as the “Moon Lake.” On the way, revisit the spectacular Chicham Bridge, stop for lunch at Losar Village, and explore Kibber Village and Kunzum Pass. Arrive at Chandratal by evening, set up camp, and enjoy a magical night under the stars near the turquoise lake. Experience the tranquility of the Himalayas, surrounded by the Milky Way. (Camping on triple sharing basis).
Day 5-Chandratal to Manali | Overnight Volvo Journey to Delhi
Wake up to stunning sunrise views over Chandratal. After breakfast, pack up and drive back to Manali via Rohtang Pass. Reach Manali by afternoon and take some rest. Later, board the Volvo bus for your overnight journey back to Delhi, carrying unforgettable memories of your Spiti expedition.
Day 6- Arrival in Delhi
Arrive in Delhi early morning, marking the conclusion of your awe-inspiring Spiti Valley trip.
